Explore The Majestic Tourist Attractions of Udaipur

Nicknamed the 'City of Lakes', Udaipur is a well-known city in the Indian state, Rajasthan, which is explored by plenty of tourists every year. It was the capital of Mewar kingdom, founded by the Rajput ruler, Maharana Udai Singh. Besides its interesting history and a rich culture, this city offers its tourists many scenic locations to explore during their vacation. Among them are the popular lakes like Pichola, Udai Sagar, and Fateh Sagar.

Best time to visit this region are the autumn and winter months, when its climate is characterized by sunny days and cool nights. One of the most famous palaces is the Monsoon Palace, which is also known as Sajjangarh Palace.
